Franchise Process
Financial Qualifications —
- The individual should possess the ability to mobilise resources through internal and external means. He/she should have the capability to personally invest around 50-60 percent of the total project cost.
Business experience and skills—
- The individual should possess 1-3 years of experience in any functional area, preferably at the middle management level.
- Be a First time Entrepreneur.
- Be Self employed in Business.
Commitment—
- Alacrity to share vision and values of IIHT in the field of IT education.
- Commitment to devote full time attention to the venture or to source professional help in running the venture.
Geographical knowledge-
- The candidate should have complete knowledge of the regional market.
- *Capital required: The Minimum initial investment for the project varies from Rs. 12 lakhs to Rs. 30 lakhs. The investment varies with various factors such as the Centre Location, Student Capacity, Duration and the Types of courses to be offered by the centre.
- *Approximate Area required for the new centre ranges from 1500 sq. ft. to 3500 sq. ft.
- The process for selecting a New Business Partner gets initiated from the moment the applicant submits the online application. The selection process takes about 2 to 3 weeks of time from the date of the receipt of the Application.

Process Timeline
- Step I – Submission of the Online Application

Later on, the applicant will be provided with the “Market Survey Form” and “Response Form”.
- Step II - Information Gathering
The applicant has to gather information pertaining to the location where the IIHT centre is to be set up. This information will be compliant with the format provided in the Market survey Form.
- Step III– Meeting with IIHT officials
The applicant will be called for a discussion with designated IIHT Officials about the project at the IIHT Regional/Zonal Office.
- Step IV– Formulation of complete Business Proposition
Based on the information collected by the applicant, he has to formulate a Business Plan for the next three years. This will include the Revenue and Profit Plan for the New IIHT Centre.
- Step V– Agreement and Roll out Plan
Once IIHT gives it approval for the Business Plan, the Applicant will have to make the necessary payments and sign the License Agreement with IIHT.
