I have attended the cloud computing course at IIHT. The Course content is excellent. I would recommend this course to anyone, who wants to make a career in cloud. The Instructor describes the entire course to you in detail. All the presentations are very good. The Course Material is truly great and the good thing is that, they provide labs and explanation. IIHT is a great place to improve our knowledge, it has a very good lab facility. I joined the CLOUD COMPUTING course in IIHT after completing my B.E (E.C.E). Trainers in IIHT are very good they explain the topics with the examples which are related to our day to day life, apart from training they helped me a lot by providing some valuable information about the technologies and also they gave me some tips to improve my confidence level. In my second attempt only I got selected for REPLICON SOFTWARE as a CLOUD OPERATIONS ENGINEER. I am thankful to IIHT and all the trainers for providing this wonderful opportunity.

I am happy to express that I have been placed in one of the well reputed company ITC-InfoTech as an Associate IT consultant though it was not a field for which I was trained but for a start-up in an IT field you have to get through something as u will get a cloud computing certification and an internship certificate so there will be a chance in future to apply for cloud domain. With IIHT I had a very good experience as I joined IIHT with an ambition of gaining knowledge and a dream of working in a reputed IT company. About the training, it is very satisfying. The faculty has helped me in preparing and getting ready for the IT industry, and the placement cell helped me in getting the right job and the faculty was always there to clear my doubts and problems during the program

Top Employable Skills IT Employers Want!

The field of Information Technology has been a hot place for jobs and much coveted by a lot of young people! The world of technology is fast changing and advances way faster than people are able to keep up with it – be it job descriptions, titles or expectations. Regardless of all these changes – there are some constant skill sets employers constantly look for when they look through resumes.

The indications for this article were got from a labor market analytics company called the Burning Glass. After closely analyzing over 13,000 job postings for roles that look for candidates with IT degree that describe employer skills that their new hires possessed.

Preparing for Job Specific Skills

Job-specific skills are the abilities that allow freshers to excel at a given job. Job ready skills can be acquired via industry oriented training under specialized institutes. Other skills can be acquired via experiential learning while on the job. These skills needed for a specific job role are called a skill set.

When employers are looking to hire, they will naturally include the skill set required to carry out jobs of a job posting. The applicants who closely match the required skill set to be able to carry out the job in the job posting will get called for a job interview.

Get Ready for the Job Role

Much has been surveyed, discussed, written and debated about employment. But unfortunately, very few academic institutions understand the basic difference between employment and employability. By now, it is clear amongst Indian students that mere academic degree will not guarantee a job, neither does it guarantee employability. If getting a college degree alone is enough, the students across the country would all get a decent shot at jobs but the facts point in the opposite direction. Most surveys report that employability ratios have been around 25% of the population of India.

The root of the problem is the gaping shift in the training between what the academia prepares students with and the actual need of the Industry. This is truer in the IT industry than any other industry.
